The short version
Slowbloomis inspiration. Affirmations and quotes here are a complement to, not a substitute for, professional mental-health care. If you're struggling, please reach out to a licensed therapist or call/text 988.
What that means in practice
Every Slowbloompost is a curated list of affirmations or quotes for a specific mood or moment. Reading them won't cure depression. It won't treat anxiety. It won't replace therapy or medication. What it can do is shift the voice in your head, slowly, over weeks of practice. That's the value we're aiming for, and we're careful not to oversell it.
If you're in crisis
Stop reading. Reach out to someone who can actually help.
- US:Call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. 24/7, free, confidential.
- UK: Samaritans, 116 123. Free from any phone.
- Anywhere: findahelpline.com lists equivalents in over a hundred countries.
- Emergency: 911 in the US. Local equivalent elsewhere.
On manifestation and money
Affirmations about abundance, success, or career are mindset practice. They are not financial advice and they do not guarantee outcomes. If a post seems to promise specific dollar amounts, a soulmate within thirty days, or any other time-bound result, that's a bug. Write us and we'll fix it.
Quote attribution
We try hard to source quotes correctly. The internet is full of misattributions (Marilyn Monroe didn't say half the things attributed to her). If you spot one, write us with a citation we can check. We acknowledge corrections within five business days and update or pull where warranted.
Pregnancy, postpartum, kids
Affirmations for pregnancy, postpartum, and kids are written gently and aren't medical guidance. If you're managing a difficult pregnancy, postpartum depression, or anything that needs a clinician, please see one. The Mayo Clinic, your midwife, your OB, and your pediatrician are all faster paths than Slowbloom.
Affiliate links and sponsored content
Slowbloommay earn a commission on some product links. Where we do, we disclose it at the link itself, not just buried at the page bottom. That's the FTC standard and we agree with it.
Editorial recommendations are picked by our team and never paid for by brands. If we ever publish sponsored content, it carries a ‘Sponsored’ label at the top of the page in matching styling, and the sponsor never has editorial review.
Reporting an issue
If a Slowbloom post carries a misattributed quote, an overpromise, or a tone that worried you, write us at hello@slowbloom.co with the article URL and what you saw. Acknowledged within five business days. Edited or pulled where warranted.
One more thing
Slowbloomdoes not establish a therapist-client or coach-client relationship with anyone reading the site. We can't answer individual mental-health questions over email or DM. Not because we don't want to, but because remote diagnosis is bad practice and we're not going to do it.
